Gardenscapes

2021 - Present

Gardenscapes is a series of sound collages of biosignal capture, environmental sound, and spoken word. The sounds created by the plants are captured and used to interpret stories, histories, and how people relate and connect to plants. The first piece is titled “The Farmer,” sharing the story of a man who plants vegetables on borrowed land, right on the edge of a busy highway. This project began development at Monmouth University in the IDM Research Lab.
